Sam is a recording engineer, mixer and producer, based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North East of England, working out of his own commercial studio, Blank Studios.
Blank Studios was established back in 2008, while the current premises has been open since 2018. He designed and built the studios from the ground up, providing a leading facility for recording, mixing, and mastering in the North East of England.
Sam has worked on and produced records for artists and labels from all over the world. His work has made numerous end of year lists, radio plays, and synchronisations.
He is also a touring musician, writing and playing guitar in alt rock / metal band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs as well as writing and performing solo under the psych outfit Rubber Oh. As a musician he has extensively toured globally, and is currently endorsed by Fender and Orange Amplification.
