Sam is a recording engineer, mixer and producer, based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North East of England, working out of his own commercial studio, Blank Studios.
Opened in early 2018, he designed and built the studios from the ground up, providing a leading facility for recording, mixing, and mastering in the North East of England.
Sam has worked on and produced records for artists and labels from all over the world. His work has made numerous end of year lists, radio plays, and synchronisations.
He also writes and plays guitar in alt rock / metal band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs. As a musician he has extensively toured UK and Europe, and is currently endorsed by Fender, Orange Amplification, and Earthquaker Devices.
Outside of commercial music Sam also builds and creates sonic art works that he exhibits throughout the UK. Often working collaboratively, he focuses on site-specific pieces, and kinetic sculpture primarily.
